This integration will give users the option to no longer remember the complicated seed phrases or private keys, users can now create or access their own blockchain wallet in a single step with their existing Social Accounts without entering the long mnemonic phrases or private keys.

Web3Auth infrastructure generates and links public-private key pairs for users through their social media handles including email, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Line, Reddit, Apple ID, GitHub, Twitch, LinkedIn etc.
Using web3Auth, Slick Wallet can manage non-custodial, app-specific private keys, which are stored in a distributed network.
Are my keys safe?
They are Safe. Web3Auth is powered by distributed key generation. When a user uses a social login for the first time, the cryptographic keys are split and stored individually by multiple different nodes on the Torus network which is run by a large ecosystem of stakeholders.
When a user returns, these same nodes look up their internal mapping in order to return the corresponding key share in order to reconstruct and enter it into the application to provide access.
Upon successful authentication, the key shares are reconstructed in the user’s client for use and wiped from the memory upon logging out. This keeps the keys custodial only to the user.
